What is this marquise flat back stud made of?

Every part is 925 sterling silver underneath: the Gold White Stone option is finished with 18K gold plating and the Silver White Stone option with rhodium plating. The stone is cubic zirconia cut in a marquise shape, not a natural gem. It belongs with the rest of our flat back earrings.

Will the top fit a back from another brand?

Fit is confirmed only with matching Marafine components. Posts and backs from other sellers are not confirmed, so order the complete earring if you do not already have our parts.

How should I look after the plating?

Take the stud out before bathing, swimming and applying perfume, and wipe it with a soft dry cloth. Keep it away from cleaning chemicals and abrasive polishing.
